You're right, there are so many other books out there you need/want to read, you can't struggle through every book you pick up. I have DNFed things, but not too often. I tend to have a good idea of what I'll like, but it doesn't always happen!

-Lauren
www.shootingstarsmag.blogspot.com
Shooting Stars Maghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16074581473656321052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-10056408723183020842015-08-21T17:47:02.320-04:002015-08-21T17:47:02.320-04:00Maybe it's me but the blurb from A History of ...Maybe it's me but the blurb from A History of Blood and Glitter really doesn't do anything for me. I can see why you would DNF it. Before, I used to push myself to finish any book I started but this year I don't bother anymore. There's just so many book on my TBR, why try so hard on something I don't like? I never go back to a book I DNF because usually I just forget about it, lol. If I really want to know the ending, I'll just skim-read.Ava Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03068020461818680229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-54031354078786606352015-08-21T12:20:24.178-04:002015-08-21T12:20:24.178-04:00I love the format you used for this!! I almost requested it on Netgalley awhile ago but then I started reading reviews and changed my mind. I doubt I'll be reading it anytime soon.

Tracy @ CornerfoldsTracy https://www.blogger.com/profile/10715236765292209452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-68951710153933247572015-08-21T11:11:22.472-04:002015-08-21T11:11:22.472-04:00I've heard A History of Glitter and Blood is w...I've heard A History of Glitter and Blood is weird so I don't blame you for DNF. 55% is really good progress though!Eileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03417123941765693827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-88042293152809122572015-08-21T10:55:50.971-04:002015-08-21T10:55:50.971-04:00I had to DNF A History of Blood too. I think I mad...I had to DNF A History of Blood too. I think I made it to 20%, so good for you for giving it so long. The writing style did not work for me and I found myself a bit bored.Cynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16050447428759378366noreply@blogger.com
