Paper Towns was only okay for me. I had some issues with that one, just like some of his other books But I will still see the movie.Cynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16050447428759378366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-79289071721302202012015-07-08T00:19:26.655-04:002015-07-08T00:19:26.655-04:00I sometimes like to watch the movie instead of rea...I sometimes like to watch the movie instead of reading the book (or watch the movie first) too, so you'll get no arguments from me. Duff, Me Before You and Paper Towns are all books I'm interested in, but I might end up seeing the movie first. I watched The Maze Runner, and I actually think it made me like the book more when I read it because I understood a little bit more where the clues were headed, but there were still enough differences that I enjoyed the mystery. Oh, and the same goes for The 100 - watched the show first, and I think I enjoyed the book more because of it!

Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction AddictionNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addictionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08637114079800138680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-45221907995018302972015-07-07T16:52:51.736-04:002015-07-07T16:52:51.736-04:00Outlander is amazing! I also need to read Dark Places (I still haven't read Gone Girl) and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.
-Monica @ Tomes ProjectMonicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10875424245169092921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-18244525554774801762015-07-07T16:37:52.899-04:002015-07-07T16:37:52.899-04:00I actually think that watching the film before rea...I actually think that watching the film before reading the book can be very beneficial when it comes to classic literature. It was the Shakespeare films that got me into Shakespeare, long before I ever picked up a text. And I think that is often the case with Jane Austen, too. So I don't think there's anything wrong with using films to encourage people to engage with the stories found in classic literature. Whether they go on to read the book after watching the film is completely up to them, but it's worked for me in the past!Bookmark Dragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07268509613086029168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-61486821793343549042015-07-07T14:51:49.918-04:002015-07-07T14:51:49.918-04:00Yeah, I haven't read any of these either! The time traveling is cool, but I think after that moment, there wouldn't be much else for me to enjoy. I hope you get to read all of these at some point, should you want to, and enjoy them!

Here's my Tuesday Post

Have a GREAT day!

Old Follower :)
Jessica @ a GREAT readhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07554254368211246669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-81203668360935141032015-07-07T14:41:29.156-04:002015-07-07T14:41:29.156-04:00Yes to all of these except one and I'm about t...Yes to all of these except one and I'm about to rant about it. I think because Mia plays the cello, and I needed to hear the music to appreciate that part of the story. Don't feel bad about not reading this book.

I didn't know they were making Me Before You into a movie. I loved that book! It was my first Jojo Moyes book, and I've been making my way through her other books since then.

DUFF was an ok book and movie. Paper Towns was a good book, so I am looking forward to that movie. It might work better as a movie.
