I think Chicago is a fun place to have any conference. I really like both conferences, but I do think ALA is a bit easier to navigate and I like that it's not too overrun and you can ask about books as opposed to dealing with mad rushes to galley drops. BEA can certainly have more for bloggers though, I do agree!

-lauren
www.shootingstarsmag.netShooting Stars Maghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16074581473656321052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-41415245419537190712017-06-29T20:50:43.635-04:002017-06-29T20:50:43.635-04:00I agree with your assessment completely. I kind of like experiencing all kinds of bookish events---variety and all that. :-) I'm glad we got to hang out!

Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction AddictionNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addictionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08637114079800138680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-57138314902445576732017-06-29T18:13:41.310-04:002017-06-29T18:13:41.310-04:00I have always wanted to go to ALA. We usually attend BEA, since we live in NJ (though, I did fly to Chicago last year) and you know, no plane fare or hotels necessary. It sounds like ALA was great and I am glad you got a ton of awesome books.
Sam @ WLABBSamantha@WLABBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11589486165371852904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158143373242218557.post-67886264503839443292017-06-29T12:48:56.231-04:002017-06-29T12:48:56.231-04:00Great comparison. Meeting authors is always awkward, but I love hearing them talk about their books on the panels.Kate Ungerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11405706702674012331noreply@blogger.com
