Top Ten Tuesday: 2015 Releases (the back half)

A weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

So I looked back at my most anticipated releases of 2015 and sure enough they are basically all out at this point, except a few summer releases and one fall release that would still make this list but didn't. This is extra surprising because I feel like the fall releases are really the ones that I am excited to read. But oh well. Now you can see the books I plan to pre-order and buy this fall. Here they are, in order of release

1.) Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas- Add to Goodreads
Release Date: September 1, 2015
This beauty is supposed to weigh in at over 650 pages which makes me very very excited. The more Celaena the better. I read the preview in the BookCon sampler and I need it yesterday!

2.) Beastly Bones by William Ritter - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: September 15, 2015
This a sequel I didn't even know was going to be a thing but here it is and I'm so excited. I know a few Jackaby fans have read it already and I cannot wait to do the same.

3.) This Monstrous Thing by Mackenzi Lee - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: September 22, 2015
One of my most anticipated debuts of the year. Steampunk Frankenstein. What more can a girl ask for. Answer: nothing. Nothing else.

4.) Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: October 6, 2015
Everyone needs more Mistborn in their life, especially me. I can't wait for more of Wax, Wayne, and Marasi. This world is so cool and I'm excited to explore it some more and have Sanderson blow my mind as usual.

5.) Carry On by Rainbow Rowell - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: October 6, 2015
A YA fantasy from Rainbow Rowell, yes please. I loved Fangirl so much and the idea that Rainbow is writing a canonical Simon Snow story makes me so excited. I also read this preview in the BookCon sampler and it's really good.

6.) The Rose Society by Marie Lu - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: October 6, 2015
You may know that The Young Elites was one of my favorite reads of 2014 because it seriously ripped my heart out. It's such a fantastic world and the characters are just, ugh... so good. I need to know what happens next.

7.) Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: October 13, 2015
I was late to the Snow Like Ashes party but I arrived and I'm excited to see where this series goes. I'm hoping for more magic in this one and more exploration of this very cool world that Sara created.

8.) Manners and Mutiny by Gail Carriger - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: November 3, 2015
The final book in the Finishing School series comes out this fall and I'm so excited to read it. This is a series that is getting better and better. The last book gave me such feels and I can't wait to see where it ends and then maybe read more Carriger.

9.) Winter by Marissa Meyer - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: November 10, 2015
Another final book in a series that I am anxiously awaiting. This one has been pushed back six months but I'm not even mad. I'm hoping for an amazing ending for this series, how could it be anything but amazing?

10.) Their Fractured Light by Aime Kaufman and Meagan Spooner - Add to Goodreads
Release Date: December 1, 2015
And yet another conclusion to a series I absolutely love. I wasn't blown away by This Shattered World but I remain hopeful for mind-blowing reveals in this book. Plus more amazing characters to love.

There you have it, my list of anticipated 2015 reads for the fall. Most of these are on my pre-order or must buy list. What books are on your list. Leave me a comment with your thoughts. Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY READING!
