Stacking the Shelves: March Edition

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews

Yesterday was the first day of April and it's Saturday which means it's time for my monthly Stacking the Shelves and book haul. I am still on a book buying diet and did much better with it this year. There were some highly anticipated new releases that came out this month so I bought a few but I'm trying to keep to it to only 3 books a month at most. But I also got a ton of review books this month including some that I'm really excited about.

Bought

1.) Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton - (Add to Goodreads / My Review)
This was one of my most anticipated debuts and I got a paperback from Book Depository. I really loved this one and it exceeded my expectations which is nice.

2.) Exit, Pursued by a Bear by E.K. Johnston - (Add to Goodreads / My Review)
This is another book that exceeded my expectations. This was a brilliant contemporary that walked the line between serious and funny.

3.) The Winner's Kiss by Marie Rutkowski - (Add to Goodreads)
I am so not ready for this series to end but I am eagerly anticipating finding out what happens to Kestrel and Arin. I am currently reading this book and it's so good.

5.) The Sleeping Prince by Melinda Salisbury - (Add to Goodreads)
After reading The Sin Eater's Daughter and chatting with me about it and coming up with all these crazy theories, Britt was very sweet and sent me a copy so we can read it together.

For Review

4.) The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi (Add to Goodreads)
Thanks St. Martin's Press! I flailed so hard when I opened this mail. I rarely get print ARCs and so getting one of my post anticipated reads of the spring was huge.

5.) The Leaving by Tara Altebrando - (Add to Goodreads)
Thanks Bloomsbury! This book sounds like a fantastic mystery/thriller and you know how I feel about YA mysteries.

6.) Enter Title Here by Rahul Kanakia - (Add to Goodreads)
Thanks Disney-Hyperion! They granted my wish on Netgalley for this one and it was very exciting. It sounds like a really fun contemporary read which will be great for summer.

7.) Relentless by Tera Lynn Childs and Tracy Deebs - (Add to Goodreads)
Thanks Sourcebooks! I read the first book in this series, Powerless, last year and liked it. I'm interested to see what comes next.

8.) Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova - (Add to Goodreads)
Thanks Sourcebooks! This sounds like an really fantastic diverse fantasy witch book. I am always interested in different kinds of fantasies so I had to request this one.

9.) Genius by Leopoldo Gout - (Add to Goodreads)
Thanks Macmillan! This sounds like a really cool YA Science Fiction/Dystopian novel.

So those are all the books I got this month. Thank you so much to the amazing publishers who approved my request on Netgalley and sent things to me in the mail. What books did you get this month? Leave me a comment with your thoughts. Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY READING!

  3. Ahhh the Winner's Kiss. I'm literally so excited to finish this series and see how she decides to end it.
I just got Star Touched Queen in the mail and UGHHHH it's so beautiful. You can definitely count on me getting a finished copy when I'm finished reading it and loving it. I heard her writing was very dreamy and such <3

  4. Awesome haul. I hate when trilogies or series are going to end. It feels like I'm saying goodbye to friends almost. Have a wonderful weekend.
